Refund - Changes - Cancellation
REGISTRATION
Registration fees are not refundable. In the event of cancellation of the event due to force majeure, the Organizing Committee will not refund registration fees, but will consider transferring the participant to the next edition.
TRANSFER REGISTRATION
Athletes unable to participate will be given the option to "Transfer their Registration Fee" to LMM 2027, covering the same distance as their chosen LMM 2026 race. The request must be sent by email to [email protected] by October 18, 2026, attaching a receipt for the €10.00 administration fee (for example, specify "Paolo Rossi Transfer LMM 2026/Marathon" in the reason for payment). Applicants will be required to resubmit their registration form and any additional documentation required for LMM 2027 no later than 30 days before the event.

CHANGE DISTANCE / NAME
You will be given the option to "Change Distance/Name." If you request a change in distance that increases the distance, you will be required to pay the difference in the fee valid at the time of the request. BOATS 42K / 33K / 21K
On Sunday, November 8, 2026, the Organizing Committee will provide participants and their companions with boats connecting the Arrival Area in Verbania Pallanza with the Departure Area in Arona.

SHUTTLE BUS 10K – VERBANIA STATION
The CO provides post-race transportation from the ARRIVAL AREA Verbania Pallanza to the DEPARTURE AREA Verbania Fondotoce and to Verbania Train Station.
SUN 08.11.2026 all participants in the 10 KM will be able to use, free of charge and upon presentation of the bib, the CO shuttle BUSES that will connect the Arrival Area of Verbania Pallanza (Piazza Gramsci) with the Departure Area of Verbania Fondotoce (entrance to the “Isolino” campsite) and the Verbania FS station.
ATTENTION: it is possible to reach the ARONA Departure Area from STRESA (arrival 21K) or from VERBANIA PALLANZA (arrival 42K/33K/10K) by train Click here

Baggage storage
The CO will not be responsible for any theft or loss, therefore it is recommended not to leave valuables in the clothing storage bags.
Only clothing bags provided by the CO will be accepted, which each participant will receive together with the bib and the sticker to apply to them. At the start of each race, trucks will be set up where participants can deliver the clothing bags to be collected at the Arrival Area of the respective races.

The changing rooms are not guarded, therefore the CO declines all responsibility for any damage, loss or theft.

Refreshments - Sponges
In order to reduce the impact on the environment, each participant will receive only one sponge to use for the entire race; we also ask participants to throw away their waste immediately after the refreshment points to facilitate the cleaning of the streets. These distances may be subject to variations due to organizational needs.
As per WA/AIMS/FIDAL regulations, refreshment points are planned, with an indication of their positioning (Right or Left), at KM 5.8 (Right) – 10.0 (Right) – 15.2 (Right) – 21.2 (Right) – 26.2 (Left) – 31.1 (Right) – 36.3 (Right) – 39.2 (Right) – Finish. Solid foods (fruit) and drinks (water, mineral salts and hot tea in case of low temperatures) are planned at the refreshment points along the route. In case of high temperatures, sponging points with running water are also planned at KM 8.5 (Right) – 12.0 (Right) – 18.0 (Right) – 23.0 (Right) – 28.0 (Right) – 33.2 (Right) – 37.3 (Right).
These distances may be subject to variations due to organizational needs.
Participants will be able to use the showers located inside the changing rooms at the Arrival Area of the various distances. Chemical toilets will be set up in the Start/Arrival Areas and at the refreshment points along the route.
Awards
The awards ceremony is intended only for the competitive races that are part of the event and no prizes will be awarded or shipped after 2:30 PM on Sunday, November 8, 2026.

On the race course, by effect of the Prefectural order, the transit of all vehicles including bicycles will be prohibited. Violators will be stopped and punished according to the law.
